A Proposal!!!
I'd like to propose a knitblogger's luncheon on the green at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival coming up in a mere three weeks. Both Saturday and Sunday (for those who can only make it on one or the other day), let us meet on the green beside the central Pavillion (where the stage and music are, you can't miss it) to have lunch, lounge around comparing our haul thus far, and getting to put faces to some of the names we see in blog land. Of course you don't have to have a blog to join in - if you're reading this, you're invited! Let's make it 1 PM (there's a free dyeing tutorial by Judith MacKenzie McCuin (Judy Mac Mc, as Kate calls her) from 12 - 1 on Sunday, wouldn't want to miss that).
Hope to see you all there!

I am in. Email me at fireemtgirl at gmail dot com if you need any help. I will be there both days. I only live about 35 minutes from the fairground.
I will be at the fest both days and will definitely stop by! But if you felt like posting again about this closer to the event, that might help me remember! :)
I'll be sure to stop by, I'm also very close. It will be great to meet some of you since I'm a blogless lurker!
I'll be there, Icarus in hand! I'm riding the bus up w/ the other knitters from the Barnes & Noble weekend group on Saturday, so you can bet that I'll be there....and by 1 PM I'll probably need a break & some water!
:)
(Not to mention a long-overdue baby Lia fix!!!!!)
I am SO there, with a bunch of other Texas girls! I just posted on my blog about it; hopefully word will spread like wildfire.
I'll definitely be there Saturday and perhaps Sunday. I look forward to meeting you and hopefully other knit bloggers. Thanks for arranging this :)
PS. I gotta get off my keister and work on some patterns for your pretty yarn.
I'm so there!!
I'm one of the Texans coming up with Chris (skittermagoo) for the festival, and I am definitely looking forward to the knitters/knitbloggers meet-up on the hill! WooHoo!
Looking forward to stopping by on one or both days. Thanks!
Looking forward to it! I'll be there on Saturday. Whoo hoo!
I'm going to put the time on my calendar for Saturday!
Oh great! Is there shade in that location? I can't remember if it was Rhinebeck or MD but I almost fried myself meeting at that time of day in the direct sun. ;)
Maybe I need to knit up that new Knitty parasol really quick. haha
(I call myself frecklegirl for a reason...haha)
Oh, don't let Judith hear you call her "Judy"...she is SO not a Judy! The nickname I love is "J Mac" which pretty much says it all! She's that much of a star.
Howdy! Mel at purlingplans sent me your way - I'd love to stop by on Saturday too! Can't wait - this is my first MD Sheep & Wool - I'm all atwitter!
I started a blog for the meetup here:
http://sheepandwool2007.blogspot.com/
E-mail me at that blog or leave a comment and I will invite you to be an author - then we can all see each other's blogs!
